The Duke Health Sector Advisory Council (HSAC) members gather twice annually (spring and fall) at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business to discuss emerging issues and new approaches to increase the value of care. Council members pay a fee to support operations of the Council and to support the Fuqua School of Business and the Health Sector Management program. Council members are encouraged to send a colleague in their place when they cannot attend and to bring a colleague with them when the topic fits the colleague’s interests.

The Council has three objectives:

1) Highlight changes that will drive the future of healthcare and stimulate the translation of new knowledge into practice.

2) Encourage executives to leave company silos and interact with the leading payers, providers, and manufacturers that make up the health care ecosystem.

3) Provide an opportunity to interact with Duke faculty, staff, and MBA students, and support programming at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and the Health Sector Management program.
