HSAC members gather twice yearly (spring and fall) at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business to engage emerging issues and new approaches to increase the value of care by improving outcomes per unit of investment while improving quality and access. The evening/following‐day schedule minimizes the impact on busy schedules and maximizes the benefits of interaction. Participation in the Forum is by invitation only. HSAC leadership designs and focuses Forum sessions on emerging issues at the intersection of innovation, economics and policy. The format encourages interaction and networking among the small group of diverse participants and is designed to stimulate the translation of new knowledge into innovative practice. Topics and forum session dates are chosen in advance with the involvement of members, faculty and staff and guest speakers.
